Cedar Shores is a populated place located within the Township of Cedar Creek, a minor civil division (MCD) of Allen County. Cedar Shores appears on the Cedarville U.S. Geological Survey Map.
Residents and tourists can enjoy a nice, scenic break at the ACRES Land Trust, a nature preserve found a few minutes away from Cedar Shores. It has a calm, beautiful river and it’s truly a magical place to have a short hike or a scenic walk. Hikers can enjoy different terrains all packed in one park.

Another park worth visiting near Cedar Shores is the Metea County Park. Cedar Creek, a state designated scenic river, divides the north & south parts of this large park. The place is really scenic and picturesque and it offers several hiking trails. Visitors can also swim in the water or go kayaking in on the bigger area.

The Leo-Cedarville Town Park is only 8 minutes away from Cedar Shores. It’s a great place to cool off, chill with your dog and walk the family. The Town Park also has a nice playground with lots of options especially rope climbing.

Tourists can also stroll at Parkview North Family Park, a public park featuring picnic shelters, play equipment, a pond, a walking path & exercise equipment. The playground area is very nice and the kids love it. There’s also a small workout/waiting area while the kids play, and nice trails. Clean restrooms are also available.
